Post 1

As you all know, I am Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus. I worked for Trajan, Hadrian, and possibly Pliny the Younger, who was my friend. After I was fired by Hadrian I wrote biographies. My most popular surviving book is called The Twelve Caesars. In the book were biographies of all the emperors from Julius to Domition. I also wrote biographies on Grammarians, Rhetorics, Poets, and Historians. Unfortunately, most of my books were destroyed.

The Twelve Caesars

I finished my book, The Twelve Caesars! You can listen to it with the link in one of my previous posts. In my book I wrote about the rulers Julius CaesarAugustusTiberiusCaligulaClaudiusNeroGalbaOthoVitelliusVespasian,Titus and Domitian. I am dedicating my book to a man named Gaius Septicius Clarus. In my books I made it so you can't tell what year it is, so it's more entertaining. I hope you will enjoy reading them.

Working under Hadrian

Due to recent events, I have been fired from my job as Hadrian's secretary. Apparently, it wasn't a great idea to have a relationship with his wife, Pompeia Plotina. Don't get me wrong, Hadrian is a great emperor. He spends a lot of time working in the provinces, and Hadrian's Wall was an amazing feat. Unfortunately, because of my actions, I will no longer be Hadrian's secretary.

Switching Emperors

Not too long ago, Trajan had a stroke and died. He was recently cremated, and the ashes were buried under Trajan's Column. Now his son, (adopted son,) Hadrian is emperor. Trajan was one of the best emperor's ever, and he will never be forgotten.

Working under Trajan

Right now I am currently working under the Emperor Trajan. Trajan is from Spain, and is the first emperor from a province. He conquered Dacia, Parthians, and Mesopotamia. I am his Secretary of Studies and the director of the imperial archives. That means that I have access to all the books in the Emperor's library. With all this information in front of me, I started writing biographies. I can't wait to publish them!
